October 5: Shore Invitational, Holmdel Park ( Results
). Josiah second in 15:59 at Holmdel Park. Very warm and humid.

October 29: Morris County Championships at Central Park, Greystone in Morris Plains ( Results ). Josiah wins his first Morris County Cross Country championship, and sets course record of 15:24.3. Conditions were perfect. The prior course record was by Morgan Pearson, then of Delbarton, who at the Pre-Nationals meet about two weeks ago was the first runner for Colorado (ranked first in the USA in cross country).
